Abstract
An oversimplified and sensitive sensor based on MoWS2-modified screen-printed electrode (MoWS2/SPE) was designed in this study for detecting gliclazide (GLZ) and glibenclamide (GLB) that are two widespread employed drugs in treating noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. MoWS2 exhibited very good electrocatalytic activities toward oxidation of GLZ and GLB in comparison with bare SPE in 0.1M PBS, and the isolated capacities of oxidation peak assured concurrent determination of GLZ with widespread linear range between 0.06 and 500.0 mu M. Determination limit of GLZ has been 18.0 nM (S/N = 3). MoWS2/SPE has good steadiness, repeatability, and reproducibility. This procedure has had a successful application in detecting GLZ and GLB in their biological and pharmaceutical specimens with acceptable recovery.
